Once on the island, enjoy a breathtaking snorkeling experience among colorful tropical fish, followed by a delicious beachside lunch. In the afternoon, relax, explore the island, or simply soak in its natural beauty. At approximately 2:40pm,you will board the boat again for the return trip. If you´ve added the Vivos Beach tour option,the guide may tell you to leave Tortuga Island around 1:30pm. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn about the ecological importance of mangroves while enjoying stunning natural scenery. To end the tour we stop at a white sand beach called playa Vivos where calm and nature combine for a great experience. Option 2: Spider Monkey Island Visit the famous Spider Monkey Island, where groups of these endangered primates live in their natural habitat. Observing these rare monkeys is a unique and memorable experience that connects you directly with Costa Rica’s biodiversity. Transportation is NOT included,if you need transportation to get to the tambor pier,please let us know,has an additional cost depending of the location. Tambor pier is located about 40 minutes by car from Santa Teresa,or Mal Pais. Parking is available right at the pier,where your guide will be waiting for you. For a private tours,you may also choose a different departure time from the usual schedule. The name of your guide will be provided along with your tour confirmation details. We include drinks such as soft drinks,beer,and water. But if you would like to bring your own,you are welcome to do so. A 50 % deposit or full payment is required to complete your reservation.
