Our Policies on Tours & Activities
To reserve a spot on any tour or adventure activity, a 50% deposit or full payment of the fee is required. Once payment is received, a confirmation email with the scheduled date of your trip will be sent.
We strongly recommend checking availability through our contact channels before making any payment.
General Conditions
- •Ocean activities are subject to weather, swell, and visibility conditions, especially during the rainy season.
- •Children pay according to the age categories specified for each tour or activity and must always be accompanied by an adult.
- •In the event of a serious issue or service failure attributable to Tiko Tours, a full refund will be issued (bank fees not included).
- •If a guest is found to be under the influence of alcohol during an activity, our team will take appropriate action depending on the situation. If the guest does not follow the guide's instructions, they will be fully responsible for any consequences.
- •On tours where alcohol is included, a maximum of two beers per person is provided for safety reasons. Guests are free to consume other beverages available at the activity location at their own discretion and risk.
- •The use of life jackets on board is mandatory for your safety. The guide will provide proper instructions for use.
- •For water tours that include snorkeling, guests must confirm that they are in good health and capable of swimming, and must follow all safety guidelines given by the guide.
- •If a guest fails to arrive at the meeting point within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, no refund will be granted.
- •Guests with any health condition must inform the company at the time of booking.
- •Tiko Tours is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings such as cameras, binoculars, or mobile phones during any tour or activity.
- •Tours are carried out on the agreed dates. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe, Tiko Tours will notify the client immediately by phone or email, and the date will be rescheduled in mutual agreement.
- •Tiko Tours is not responsible for delays caused by road closures or weather conditions.
- •If a reserved transport service must take an alternative route, additional charges may apply according to the policies of the contracted provider.
- •Tours and activities may be booked as private services if the minimum number of participants required is not reached.
- •Each transportation provider has its own regulations. For pets, extra luggage, surfboards, or oversized items, please contact Tiko Tours in advance. Additional charges may apply.
Refunds & Cancellations
- •Tiko Tours operates every day, except when the minimum or maximum group size required for a tour is not met. In such cases, the company will reschedule the activity or issue a refund of the amount paid (excluding bank fees), as agreed with the client.
- •For any inconvenience or dissatisfaction with a tour or activity, please contact Tiko Tours immediately, and we will evaluate the possibility of a partial refund (bank fees excluded).
- •If a guest cancels one day before the scheduled tour or activity, no refund will be given.
- •For transportation changes or cancellations, we will attempt to reschedule the date or issue a refund, subject to the terms and conditions of the contracted provider.
- •Cancellation fees for adventure tours or activities vary by provider. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.
- •Cancellations of individual reservations are subject to a $30 fee (plus any bank or provider charges).
- •Date or time changes may be made free of charge, depending on provider availability and policies.
